Begin september maakt coureur Melroy Heemskerk op het Duitse circuit van Oschersleben zijn debuut in een Formule 3. De pasgekroonde Nederlands Formule Ford kampioen en klassementsleider van het Benelux kampioenschap gaat bij het Van Amersfoort Racing team één van de Dallara-Volkswagens testen.
